Rose Law ("Rose Law," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit roselawnevada.com or contact us through this website, how we use that information, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under California, EU, and other applicable privacy laws. By using this website you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information automatically generated by your browser. Specifically:
- Information you submit. When you fill out the contact form, request a consultation, or email us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, the city or office you prefer, a brief description of your legal matter, and any documents or links you choose to include.
- Automatically collected data. When you load a page on this site we receive your IP address, the page you requested, the time of the request, and limited browser metadata (such as user-agent string) as part of standard server logs.
- Bot-protection data. Our contact forms and admin access forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from automated bots. Cloudflare receives technical signals about your browser environment to make that decision. See Cloudflare's privacy notice at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy (opens in a new tab).
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, health information beyond what you voluntarily disclose, or geolocation more precise than the city/region level.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we can assist you;
- Communicate with you about your matter by phone, email, or text;
- Conduct a conflicts-of-interest check before agreeing to represent you;
- Operate, secure, and improve this website (for example, by blocking spam and abuse);
- Comply with applicable law, court orders, or ethics rules.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not use your information to build behavioral-advertising profiles.
3. Service Providers
We rely on a small number of trusted U.S.-based service providers to operate the website and respond to inquiries. They process information only on our instructions and are contractually required to keep it confidential:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS). Hosts the website, the contact-form backend, and the encrypted lead archive in the U.S. West (Oregon) region.
- Cloudflare, Inc. Provides bot-protection (Turnstile) for contact forms and admin access forms.
- Amazon Simple Email Service (SES). Delivers email notifications of new inquiries to the firm.
We do not transfer your information outside the United States.
4. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting information through this website does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Rose Law. An attorney-client relationship is established only after we have completed a conflicts check, agreed in writing to represent you, and you have signed a written engagement agreement. Until that happens, please do not send time-sensitive, highly confidential, or privileged information through this website. For urgent matters, call our office.
5. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses two categories of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary. Session storage that keeps a logged-in administrator signed in, plus the bot-protection signals collected by Cloudflare Turnstile on contact forms and admin access forms. These are required for the site to function.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-VTLTLY56X9) to understand, in aggregate, which pages visitors view, how they navigate the site, and how they arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as_ga) that include a randomly generated client identifier. We do not use these cookies to identify you personally, and we have configured the property to anonymize IP addresses where applicable. - Usability recordings. We use Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, how visitors interact with pages (heatmaps and anonymized session replays), which helps us fix confusing layouts. Clarity masks the text you type into forms, so the content of your inquiry is not captured in a recording. Clarity sets first-party cookies (
_clck,_clsk) and Microsoft sets identifiers on its own domains (such asMUID) to operate the service; Microsoft's use of that data is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab).
We do not run advertising retargeting, Meta Pixel, or ad-network tracking on roselawnevada.com.
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, we honor it: neither Google Analytics nor Microsoft Clarity is loaded at all, and none of the analytics cookies above are set. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab), or clear cookies at any time in your browser. If we add any new analytics, advertising, or retargeting technology in the future, we will update this policy first.
6. Data Retention
We keep records of inquiries we receive through the contact form only as long as needed to evaluate, respond to, and (where applicable) represent you. Specifically:
- Submissions classified as spam are automatically deleted from our archive after 30 days.
- Inquiries we decline to take are retained for up to twelve months for conflicts-check purposes, then deleted unless retention is otherwise required by law or professional ethics rules.
- Inquiries from clients we represent are retained as part of the client file under applicable Nevada rules of professional conduct.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have one or more of the following rights with respect to information you have submitted to us:
- Access. Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete information you have submitted, subject to our obligation to retain client files and records required by law.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to direct us not to do so even if our practices change.
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny you legal services or charge you differently because you exercise any of these rights.
California residents may exercise these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). EU and UK residents may exercise comparable rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR. To submit a request, email sean@roselawnevada.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days.
8. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information you submit. The contact-form pipeline runs entirely on our private AWS account, with data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Administrative access is limited to firm personnel and the website administrator, gated by multi-factor authentication and a bcrypt-hashed password. Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure. Do not send highly confidential information through this website until an attorney-client relationship has been established.
9. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review the policy periodically.
