Kyle Rose is a sixth-generation Nevadan. His maternal ancestors, the Hammersmiths and Steels, settled in the Reno-Sparks area in the 1850s. His paternal ancestors, the Bordas, were Basque sheepherders who settled in the Minden-Gardnerville area in the 1870s. He grew up in Northern Nevada, graduated from Reno High School, and went on to the University of Nevada, Reno, and UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law, giving him a deep understanding of the people, places, and values that define both halves of the state.

Kyle earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2021, making the Dean's List every semester. He went on to UNLV's Boyd School of Law, where he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor, received the CALI Award for Legal Writing, and completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Larry Hicks of the United States District Court. He started at Rose Law as a file clerk before law school, working through every layer of the practice (case preparation, intake, litigation support) and continued on the team throughout school while also gaining personal-injury experience at Friedman Injury Law along the way.

Outside of the practice, Kyle has been involved in philanthropy since college. At UNR he organized the annual Shave for the Brave fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, individually raising over $10,000 and leading a team that raised more than $20,000, recognized three times as a Squire of Hope. As a founding member of his Lambda Chi Alpha chapter, he helped grow membership from 15 to over 100 and built a culture of philanthropy that has since raised more than $100,000 for childhood cancer research. Off the clock he holds a second-degree black belt with over ten years of martial-arts training, surfs, snowboards, skis, plays basketball, and reads fantasy fiction.
