Our Commitment
Rose Law is committed to making roselawnevada.com accessible to the broadest possible audience, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor disabilities. We believe access to legal information is a civil right, and we work to keep this Site usable for everyone, whether you browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on voice control, or use another assistive technology.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (opens in a new tab) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard adopted by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA Title III compliance and by most U.S. state accessibility laws.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA. The Site is built with semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), proper heading hierarchy, and ARIA attributes where appropriate so assistive technology can interpret content correctly.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, dialogs) are reachable and operable from a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every focusable element. A "skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page.
- Color contrast. Body text is rendered in high-contrast navy on a paper background; primary buttons and links meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Forms. Every form input has an associated label, required fields are clearly marked, and validation errors are announced in a way screen readers can read.
- Images. Meaningful images have alternative text describing their content. Decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them.
- Motion. Page animations are subtle and brief, and the Site honors your
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting where possible. - Resizing. The Site is built with relative units so you can zoom in your browser up to 200% without loss of content or function.
Known Limitations
We test the Site regularly across major browsers and assistive technologies, but accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you encounter a page or feature that does not work for you, we want to hear about it so we can fix it. Specific limitations we are aware of:
- Some embedded third-party widgets (for example, the Cloudflare bot-protection challenge on the contact form) are outside our direct control. We choose vendors that prioritize accessibility, but their behavior may vary.
- Older case-result PDFs were originally produced before current accessibility standards and may not be fully tagged. We are working to remediate them and can provide an accessible version on request.
Requesting Accommodations
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this Site, or if you would like an accessible version of any document or any information presented on the Site, please contact us. We will work with you to provide the information through an alternate accessible method (by phone, email, or printed copy) at no cost to you.
